2019 Federal Election Debate around issues that affect non-profit organisations in the Yukon

The 2019 Canadian federal election is scheduled to take place on or before October 21, 2019. Once again, VBY would like to give non-profit organisations in Yukon the opportunity to think about the issues that matter to you, and how the federal candidates will handle them.

On September 26, 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at MacBride Museum, VBY is gathering Yukon federal candidates to discuss the non-profit sector, and the challenges we all face.

We invite you to attend the debate, hear the positions of Yukon federal candidates, and be part of a discussion that will – no matter who becomes the member of parliament for the Yukon  – have a lasting impact on our lives, and the lives of those we serve through our agencies.

We want you to be part of the debate!
1- Questions
If you have a specific question you would like asked, or an issue that you would like raised, we ask you to send these ideas to us.

We will compile your submissions and provide the candidates’ representatives with the questions ahead of time, so they can prepare.

We hope that you take some time to think about the issues that are important to you and your organisation, and help us facilitate this vital discussion. We also hope that you attend the debate, and hear the answers first-hand.

2- NGO Introduction
On September 26, we will also ask you to introduce your organisation to the candidates

Stay tuned to learn about the format of the debate. We cannot organise it without your participation.

If you have any questions about the debate, or for more information, please contact
