John is a Whitehorse-based public engagement specialist with a background in park planning, recreation, and community development. John trained through the International Association for Public Participation (IAP2) and adheres to their Core Values. John has worked for public, private and not-for profit sector clients on a variety of project that involve stakeholders and decision-making. John believes effective public engagement leads to sustainable decision-making and has the potential to build community. John is a co-founder and past President of YuKonstruct and (co)space
