Host a live weekly radio show every Thursday from 12:00–1:00 p.m. on CJUC 92.5 FM, ideally alongside a co-host. Hosts will interview nonprofit and community organizations about their work, volunteer opportunities, programs, and impact in the Yukon. On weeks without a guest, hosts will lead engaging conversations and highlight current volunteer opportunities, nonprofit events, and other community updates.
Be available to host the show from 12:00–1:00 p.m. on selected Thursdays when guests are scheduled.
Review the featured organization and prepare a few questions before each episode.
Lead friendly, engaging conversations and ask relevant follow-up questions.
Communicate professionally with guests and follow CJUC broadcasting guidelines.
– A genuine interest in Yukon nonprofits, community stories, and volunteerism.
– Comfortable having natural, podcast-style conversations with guests.
– Curious, friendly, and able to ask engaging follow-up questions.
– Interested in gaining experience in radio, podcasting, or interviewing.
– No previous hosting experience is required—just a willingness to learn and have fun.
– Approximately 30min-1 hour per selected Thursday, including preparation and the one-hour live show.
– Hosts do not necessarily need to be available every Thursday. Scheduling will depend on guest bookings and volunteer availability.
