September 9th is recognized as International FASD Awareness Day. In Whitehorse, this event will be celebrated with a large community BBQ held at Shipyard’s Park from 10:30 am until 3:30 pm (including set up and take down time). We are actively seeking anyone in our community who can help set up the event, cook at the grills, and take down after the event.

Various – food safety is a plus!
Responsibilities
Setting up event books/tents and taking down
Helping set up food tables and prepare meals
Providing entertainment for the event – singing, music of any kind
Cooking at the BBQ
Serving folks who cannot serve themselves or helping those who need an extra hand.

Time Commitment
Any amount of time would be wonderful! There is an opportunity for people to help during the entire event or just for several hours of the event.
