Being a BBYN Board Member means jumping in to help shape the future of Beyond Borders Youth Network and our mission to support immigrant and refugee youth in Yukon. You’ll work with a diverse crew to dream up and improve programs that actually make a difference — from volunteering and skill-building to outdoor adventures. You’ll help guide our vision, goals, and plans, and get involved in things like fundraising, outreach, and building partnerships. Your ideas and voice matter here, so expect to share them at our monthly meetings. Most importantly, you’ll be part of a team that stands for youth inclusion, equity, and social justice. Never been on a board before? Totally fine! If you’re passionate, committed, and ready to learn, you’ll fit right in.

Expect to join about one board meeting a month — usually around 1.5 to 2 hours. A few hours here and there to help with planning, events, or special projects (totally flexible)!
