Who We Are
Beyond Borders Youth Network (BBYN) is all about building connections and making a difference. We’re a Yukon-based nonprofit helping youth immigrants and refugees find their place, gain new skills, and thrive through volunteer opportunities and networking.
What’s the Deal?
We’re on the hunt for awesome people to join our Board of Directors. Think of it as leveling up your leadership game while helping us grow. We’re especially looking for folks into outreach and planning fun, impactful activities – basically, people who love connecting with others and making things happen.
We’re all about youth (18-30), BIPOC individuals, and Yukon University international students stepping up to the plate. If that’s you, let’s talk.
Your Mission (Should You Choose to Accept It):
– Be the voice of the community! Help us reach more youth and organizations across Yukon.
– Dream up and plan activities that bring people together and leave a lasting impact.
– Show up for monthly board meetings (we promise, they’re not boring).
– Share ideas, bring your energy, and help shape BBYN’s future.
– Movers, shakers, and community-builders.
– Youth with a passion for diversity and inclusion (no fancy experience needed, just the will to make a difference).
– A team-player attitude and some solid communication skills.
– A passion for connecting people and creating memorable activities.
– A sprinkle of creativity and a proactive mindset.

Just 5 hours a month, approximately.
– You’ll make a legit impact in people’s lives.
